Handcrafted from exotic woods and polished with shellac
The frames and cases are made individually from carefully chosen woods (for example, French walnut, olive wood, cherry wood) by myself. Often, I combine different colors of wood, which creates attractive accents and gives a noble character to them.
The surfaces are polished in many thin layers of shellac according to historical recipes, which gives them a high gloss and a fine haptics.
Cases were used in the past to preserve the valuable photographic unique plates as a piece of jewelry in a well-protected manner. The caskets themselves are beautiful pieces of jewelry when placed on a shelf or desk. They are provided with hinges and a closure and can also accommodate two pictures. A perfect and noble gift for people with a sense of artistic craftsmanship!
